Why would you be a good mod?

I would really like Mod as I think I could be a positive attribute to the Pokemon server. I think I have many ideas and tips to help the server, or just improve it. I think I will be a good Mod as I am currently very active and I try to help everybody possible, even without the rank, eg. Pointing out who can help. I will try my best to please everybody, or even solve conflicts between those who don't agree with each other. I will be as friendly and kind to every person on the server and never judge anybody.


My real natural instinct to be a leader and example for others is one of my personality traits, I think, I have. I think I am a very easy friend maker and am always welcoming new comers or saying hello to people who log on. I nearly never get angry or rage, unless the person really wants me too, and never "judge a book by its cover".


Another trait I have is obsession to have things PERFECT! I like having things formatted to be easy to read (eg. PEX) and also perfect (eg. When building to scale).


One bad habit I have would probably be watching dynmap on the build server or MChat on Pokemon server whilst doing homework or studies. I really can't get enough of the server!


Another bad habit would be spending too much time on trying out mods, plugins, redstone logic and mod/plugin coding for long hours, trying every trick there is to each of them.


I think I am a great candidate for Mod and I am happy to accept responsibility, or criticism for what I do as Mod, or just in general. I am happy to help outside the role if I don't get it but I think I could do better with this role. If there is any problem you see with me, or my mod app, or anything else, feel free to pm me, as I monitor the forums as much as possible and will answer 99.9% of questions asked.

What do you plan to DO as Mod? Do you just want the pretty rank?

I would like Mod on the Pokemon server, not just because it looks cool or pretty, but to actually help and improve the server. I see no purpose of having a "Mod" tag, without actually committing to the job or just ignoring people who WILL abuse you to do things on and on and on. You should be able to problem solve, which I think I can do.

Just to add to this, I don't only watch and read tutorials about how to use it, etc, but I also actually implement it into my own bukkit server on my computer and learn HOW to ACTUALLY use it physically.

Can you moderate the server, and demonstrate your ability by moderating your own application thread? If things get out of control on a forum thread, can your really control a situation on a server?

I think I will be able to handle anything that comes my way and find a solution to the problem at hand.

Do you have teamspeak? Would you be willing to get on it?

I am willing to use teamspeak and skype whenever requested it is needed.
