As with all UUID conversions it isn't perfect, and some names didn't convert properly. If you have missing badges post here and I'll restore them if they are missing when you are online provided you don't want to conquer the gyms again.

People who didn't get their badges transferred between the update and changing their name are out of luck1.

If course the only way to know it does actually work is for someone with a badge to change their name.

I think that finalises all UUID stuff that is potentially game breaking now.  :hattip:

Yeah, changing your name no longer makes you lose your badges. Theoretically anyway. And if they are missing tell Tene here and she'll fix them if you're online when she does it if I understood correctly, please correct me if I'm wrong.

And guess what, I did it wrong and the data is stored in the opposite way to what I intended...
