Title: My Soon To Be Challenge Question..

Um I have a question. Can Gym Leaders Take on the Elite 4 while they are still Gym Leader or do they have to quit.

Yes you can stay as a gym leader. Just if you get a new position (champ only available but impossible) you get that exchange for gym leader
