Last night something strange happened and the server was in a state of perpetual lag-out. Not offline, but not allowing any players to log in. Console History shows a line of Read Time Out and Connection Reset for about 5 hours straight. I restarted it this morning, the problem seems gone for now.

Yeah, the server was shown as online on minescroll.

This seems to be a problem with minecraft.net, we don't yet know how to help people with this particular issue.

i just downloaded tekkit and now i cant connect to the server with the normal version of minecraft but i used to be able to

Tekkit is a compilation of various mods around the Internet. It is the expansion of redstone, as computers, better circuitry, quarries, and all modern technology are included, adding a new sence of gameplay.
