Well... I challenged gavinnic1 to a gym battle so he accepted and then I was doing the course after 10 painful minutes in the course, I made it to the arena then I told gavi that I was waiting for him but he didn't respond then he left the game...

The arena is technically part of the course. The person who will give you your $500 is gav, so you should message him about this.
