Visual Boy Advance), Advanced Map = Application that allows you to see a map/image of each city/route of the GBA games. Make sure to use Emerald as reference and not Ruby or Sapphire.
Can you follow directions from the HeadBuilders?: If you cannot follow simple instructions given by those above you, don't bother applying.
Can you work well with a team?: If you cannot work well and cooperate with fellow team members, don't bother applying.
Do you know what scaling we use to build?: If you do not know about how our scaling works, you won't be able to build the assigned city correctly, and you cannot apply. If you don't know, ask someone.
How often will you be able to build?If you are not able to build often, chances are that you will not be accepted.

The Pokemon Center and Mart are off scale, make it 8x6, rather than 10x8.
Doors are also 1x2.
The house just looks bland. Maybe add another type of plank for those two things that look like pillars.
The roof looks more of a light brown than orange in game.
And maybe make it a bit taller?

You don't have to limit it to keeping it rectangular, you can always get rid of the corners to give the walls a more diagonal look.
Maybe add pillars instead of keeping the wool/obsidian inside the walls.

Maybe add pillars or something to the front, to make the part around the door pop out.

I'd suggest making the center and the mart one block taller, and the houses a few more blocks taller, to give it a cube look.
I'd also suggest making the roofs more triangular, and have it not stop at the back of the house.

Could you sort of clean up the application a bit? Start each question on a different line, it makes it easier to read. Also, I'd like to see the entire exterior of the lab, roof and all. We use a 1:2 scale. One step in a Pokemon game=Two Minecraft blocks.

Considering you're lacking of knowledge of our scaling, which is in this forum board actually, I can't tell whether you build you lab to scale or not. So redo it using the 1:2 scale (1 in game block is a 2x2 square in Minecraft) or please give me the dimensions as to the lab you built. Thanks.

I'd like for you to elaborate on what 1:2 means, and the scaling for the house, platform, and the ladder is a bit off, which leads me to assume that you don't know what 1:2 is. . .
The colors are a bit off; it's more of a reddish-brown/brown than red. I like how you did the roof, though, and the height of the building is nice, too.

Again, elaborate on what 1:2 means. Even though you probably know, I'd still like for you to elaborate to make sure. I think that the building could be a bit taller, and that you should make the roof gray rather than light blue, but do not use wool for the roof.
You did nice with the scaling, and except for the roof, the colors on the building were okay. Also, when you say you can build once a day, how much do you think you can actually do between those hours? One route? Two routes? A city? Be specific please.

Make the white things one block shorter, move the one on the left one block to the left, and put the middle one more in the center. Make the roof gray.

I'd suggest using a lighter material for the pillar-like things, maybe wood planks?
Maybe have the roof jut out a bit? Not in the horizontal direction, though, it'd look bad.
And change the roof's color, too.

I am very good at pixle art and making villages and in this screen shot u will see a village and a light house It is not pipmed because I was on survival and then the update came were u can change gamemode and I did not want to chang it because it my my monument and i didnt want to change it do u know what i mean. u might not see the screen shot but if u do I can make a whole village that stands out and looks butiful at sun set and I played all the pokemon games.

If you were still a builder when progress halted, you should still be a builder on the new map. Just check with the head builders to make sure they still want you, and you should get the necessary building permissions.

... I'm the type of guy that when I look at a forum filled with topics, I break down, and don't know which to click to find what i'm looking for. I'm just looking for anyone who may want some help. I don't know if i'm a "Veteran" builder, but I don't think my creations are bad. I wouldn't give me a job that's exceedingly massive but something general, or practical I should do just fine. I'm also at a general level with redstone. I love the stuff, I could sleep in it. The glass should be joint and 4 blocks wide on each side, the sides should be the same block as everything in between them (excluding the top and bottom rows) and the top row is the same block as the bottom. Try rebuilding it and fixing everything mentioned.

Your building is offscale, doesn't look anything like the Petalburg houses in Emerald, and your rudeness to me on the server insisting that all of Petalburg was built completely wrong is deplorable.

Most of Hoenn's surface is complete, so I was originally going to decline this application because there wouldn't be anything for you to do. However, your style of those houses in Littleroot is an improvement on the current ones (after you fixed the scaling). When the server updates to Minecraft 1.6, there will be many new blocks added to the game and consequently many buildings and houses will be able to be improved on with a style more accurate to the games. I'm approving you as a builder so that you can assist with changing some of the styles and making this map more similar to the Hoenn shown in RSE

That is not the correct scale (Talking about the one where it ask if you know the correct scaling) and you don't need to worry about interiors, if it is important they can set up warp command blocks or warp signs.

Doors are also affected by the 1:2 scaling, the house is 1 block off, and I'll need more pictures of the house from different angles

maybe use a lighter color of stained clay. The pillars on the outside of the house are the same color as the rest of the exterior.

there really isn't a need for more hoenn builders, seeing as we only have 7 areas left now
if tymac is still interested in building for hoenn, he should message me about it
