Ok first off the thing no one has mentioned even once yet HOENN was the only place we ever met our character's Father (will he be in the new game, 2nd has it said anywhere that the region will be HOENN? because I can't find anywhere that says it...It will be Hoenn. Game Freak said it would be a full remake (it's on Serebii), which obviously implies that it'll have Hoenn. For the same reason, it should also have your father in it.

There were specific areas that looked like they'd be event triggers for Jirachi, but the only ways to get him were through the Colosseum promo disc or the European/ Australian versions of Pokemon Channel until gen 4. Unless, of course, you lived in Japan, then there was a Jirachi event almost every year.

No chance that there is a completely new reigon. Kalos JUST came out. This is obviously just a remake.
I wouldn't say there is no chance, but it isn't very likely, they will probably just add more islands or something, making the Hoenn ocean even bigger.

I would LOVE to go into space with Pokémon, there is a few Pokémon that would fit in well with space (Solrock and Lunatone for example) :) there is the Space facility on one of the existing islands so it wouldn't be that hard for them to do, and If I recall correctly they did say "a spectacular new world" and the moon certainly is a new world...

Pokebank isn't really used for much else than storing, and it'll certainly be less tedious than transferring 6 pokemon at a time like previous games.

The next batch of CoroCoro information has been posted to Japanese forums and this batch showcases more information about the upcoming games. This reveals Mega Sceptile, Swampert and Diancie. Mega Sceptile is Grass/Dragon-type while the others maintain their type. Mega Diancie's ability is currently listed as ??? while Mega Sceptile has Lightning Rod and Mega Swampert has the ability Swift Swim.
Groudon & Kyogre's new "Mega Evolutions" are known as Primal/Prehistoric/Primeval Groudon & Primal/Prehistoric/Primeval Kyogre and are said to be a regression called Ancient Devolution. Steven Stone returns and also appears to have a Mega Charizard X and is after the secret for Mega Evolution
Both the Mach and Acro Bike make a return in this game and Team Aqua & Team Magma both return as well. Team Magma is lead once again by Maxie, and his Admins: Tabitha & Courtney. Team Aqua is lead by Archie and his admins Matt and Shelley, all of whom have been redesigned. Like the originals the team you face varies depending upon the game

I'm quite happy with what was revealed. The special devolution thing with Groudon and Kyogre makes a lot more sense then just giving them mega evolutions. A feature everyone has seemed to overlook is the fact that the Coro Coro screenshots show images of gameplay.

That is a good question, though I am not counting on it, as the mega evolution wasn't found when the person who hacked it found the Pokémon itself... Further details have been revealed about the Pokémon, Mega Sableye. It is confirmed that Mega Sableye retains its Dark/Ghost-type, but rather than keep any of the abilities, it gets the ability Magic Bounce. It has increased Defense and Special Attack stats, but decreased Speed. During battle, Mega Sableye shelters itself behind the jewel, from where it can take advantage of any openings its target leaves exposed.

This batch showcases more information about the games. First, it shows the new Pokédex, which appears based on the GameBoy Advance, as well as a piece labelled Madame Pikachu. Another shows Brawly.
We now have more images from John Lenoso which show various forms of Pikachu which appear to be related to the contests. Madam Pikachu & Hard Rock Pikachu on the first image, and Idol Pikachu, Doctor Pikachu and Masked Pikachu on the second. It states that more will be revealed on this in the issue next month. It also confirms that Pokémon Amie returns.
In this latest image, it shows Mega Diancie and reveals to us its ability. Mega Diancie has got the ability Magic Bounce. It also confirms that next month's issue, due for release on August 12th, will have what they're calling a "Mega Evolution Scoop".

Hey LED.The 5th gym leader in Kalos was Clemont. He didn't seem to have a keystone or anything. Korina was the only one who appeared to have the ability to mega evolve her Pokemon.

The diving animation looks so cool! And i wonder whats up with the Pikachu tail sticking up from the grass. I wonder is they will have Pokemon poking up from the grass =P makes me even more hyped.I agree I was interested to see what diving would look like :) and I bleieve th pikachu tail is how we know if it is a cosplay pikachu or not as that pikachu has a black heart on the end of the tail to identify it, though it could be used with other pokemon as well, I personaly think it will just be Pikachu in this game

More news. Mega Gallade will stay. A psychic and fighting type and gains the ability inner focus. Key ogres new move is called origin wave. Rayquaza is also said to hold a secret to mega evolution. :O I wonder what that's all about?
