Their Kanto build is absolutely amazing, they said in their website that they are going to release the maps for download since they don't have the money for a dedicated server...... Us adopting them as staff and importing their map would be a dream come true, but the chances of 1ce ever considering that are probably like 1/999999999999999999999999999999999999 because of all the time people spent on our own kanto... I just want to play their map on multiplayer SO BAD : PWell, I got a server I can host them on :P

It sure as hell doesn't look like they flew up a few blocks and took a screenshot. Seems like some sort of third-party program to make it look nice. As great as their's looks, I'd be interested in seeing what the current Sinnoh looks like with that program. They've obviously cleaned it up around the edges so it looks more like the map but that's because their aim is to please with looks rather than practicality. We do have our way, and not to bash any specific projects or any other people building maps.
But our competitors often have a map which just started, barely a couple of routes. 3 cities done. All other work is often completely blank still. We have always tried our best to remain to the 1:1 ratio or something which will look similar enough in Minecraft. If you don’t set this early on, you will run into trouble.
Everything on our maps lines up, horizontally and vertically. By using the maps found on vgmaps.com we used a base to actually build our routes on, meaning everything lines up. Building willy nilly has probably hindered other projects from really coming to fruition.
Also, we have a showcase map, we intend to release this, modless, and the ability to explore alone with no problem. We don’t intend to recreate the game. We just like putting the original maps together.
I would say, we are in a unique position, we have something others don’t. Without other faithful recreations of Pokemon games out there. This is a truly comprehensive map.
