Time Available: I am in Eastern Standard Time. There are no specific times, but I can be on any day of the week.
How long have you been on the pokemonserver: I have been on the Pokemonserver for about 3-4 years roughly and about a year on the pixelmon server.
How many/which Badges do you have: I currently own all 8 badges on Pixelmon and I am also a member of the Elite 4.
Why would you be a good mod: I have a sensible nature that requires me to help those in need. I'm a wonderful problem solver and know how to follow rules. I'm also good at helping new players and explaining basic regulations and mechanics of the server. I also have owned several servers in the past and know about ModDamage and custom commands.
What do you plan to DO as Mod: As an Admin/Mod, I plan to keep the servers running well, as well as keeping the community in check. I plan on ensuring that everyone is having a good time and that any issues are resolved in a correct manner. In addition, I plan on encouraging other players to check out the server to help ensure we have new players and a growing community. Ultimately, my goal as a mod/admin is to ensure the server is a fun place for Pokemon and Minecraft fans alike to have a good time.
What plugins/commands are you familiar with? I am familiar with the custom badge/leader commands on both the Pokemon server and Pixelmon server. I am also familiar with:
- WorldGuard
- How to manage gym leaders and buy/sell player houses.
- /seen to check if a player has timed out of their respective rank/house.
- WorldEdit
- ModDamage
- PermissionsEX
- /openinventory
- Pixelmon (/pokegive, /pokespawn, I can always do some more research on the other various commands, as well as the new trainer designer if need be)
- Bukkit Commands (/seen, /hat, /give)
- Jail/Ban/BanIP/TempBan/Kick
- /badges [region], /leaders, /check [player] [region], /givebadge [player], /takebadge, /takebadges, /title,
- Tp/Warp/Tpa commands
- /helpme [chapter]
I have owned a few Minecraft servers in the past so I know my fair share of knowledge when it comes to running/managing a server.
Can you moderate the server, and demonstrate your ability by moderating your own application thread? Yes. I have a similar format on another forum that I own, so I know how to moderate the forums. As for the server, I know what steps to take to ensure the server is moderated properly. If I make a mistake in doing so, I'm not afraid to admit and take corrective action.
Do you have teamspeak? Would you be willing to get on it: I do have TeamSpeak and prefer that since it's less dependant than Skype. I also own my own TeamSpeak server in the event that the PokemonServer TS is down. I am willing to use TeamSpeak to stay in touch with the server community and for other priorities.

I know it isn't normal for someone to apply for both admin and moderator in the same post, but this saves having to post 2 identical applications. I put admin due to 1ce and Daanor's supposed resignation. I would prefer to be admin, but I am also ok with moderator. I just want to do something to help the server that has given me some good memories. It also goes without saying that I would prefer to be an admin on Pixelmon so I can ensure that the gyms will always be staffed.

The pokemon pixelmon server has been up for 2 years? Anyways, good luck and nice application. As with all the applications that have a 'today' timestamp, might want work on listing your plugins in an easy to read format, and have a lot of plugins to put yourself above others.

Thanks for the tip. I just put 2 years because it seems like I've been on for that long, but it's probably closer to a year or a year and a half. On a side note, I like your profile picture. :)

Good luck jeff! I recommend you list out the commands needed for pixelmon, as I'm sure there a lot if an admin did /help.

Thanks! I listed the few commands I'm well aware of with the mod, but I can always do research on the other available commands.

Thanks for the reminder. I took that part out of the app and added a few more commands that I remember using. If I remember any more after work though, I'll make sure to add them. I'm sure there are several that I'm fluent with, but don't remember.

Thanks man! I'm actually really pushing to become an admin on Pixelmon so I can finally attempt to keep a solidified gym leader roster instead of leaving all these gyms empty.

I believe you would be great for Moderator, if not Admin, because there are few things you lack to know how to do that is important in becoming staff. Good Luck :).

Odd, I thought I replied to this already, but thanks. Lately it's been a concern now on if they even need staff, considering how dead both servers have been. I'm telling you though, we need to bring in some minigames or new features to work on replayability. Just beating the gym leaders gets tiring, and what honestly is there to do once you've done that?

No offense, but even if the maps were done, how long do you think it would stay busy? It's been a while since Johto was released and the server hasn't been getting much attention. Whenever I'm online, I see 2 people at most on the builder. You and stuff are the ones doing most of the building. The server doesn't just need new maps, but it needs playability. So far, all there is to do is challenge Gym Leaders, collect badges, and what have you. Sure, 1ce started making minigames, but we need more stuff to encourage players to come back. Perhaps hold daily events and specials. I even suggested the Underground idea to not only give players something to do, but also a way to obtain rare items as prizes.

Anyways, events being hosted frequently or on a schedule could possibly give players interest in the server, and making a pokeathlon with events from the games themselves would be pretty interesting.

That's exactly the point I'm getting at. Not having anything interesting and unique to do can get boring after a while. And thank you for correcting me on that. I knew that there was some other people building, but I couldn't remember their username.
And thank you. Personally my hopes aren't as high as they used to. I've been backing this horse for a mod/admin spot for far too long, and nothing has been happening.
