At the time, this Vivillon will be available only at the French Pokémon Center in Paris. So... If anyone's in Paris from June 4th to June 21st this would be an awesome souvenir. It starts at level 12 with the moves Stun Spore, Gust, Light Screen and Struggle Bug, so really it's nothing more than a Vivillon with a Limited Edition Skin.

For those of us in North America, the special PokéBall Pattern Vivillon is currently being distributed to Pokémon X & Y titles. This online distribution is only available for a very short time, until August 12th so be sure to download it while you can.

For those of you in Europe & Australia, the special PokéBall Pattern Vivillon has had its online event announced. It has been confirmed that this distribution will run on European and Australian games from August 29th 2014 to September 8th 2014.

Why do you have an American 3DS? That means you have to ship any game you want from the US

Well I used to live in the US (for 9 months a couple years ago) and wasn't aware of the whole region thing as the DS and DSi didn't have it.
Yeah, shipping games is annoying so I want to buy the next handheld in Australia. This is the one bonus. :p
