Title: Liquid's petition
Post by: 1cec0ld on March 25, 2012, 12:11:20 pm
He may actually have a point. A small one, but nevertheless valid.

Cal and Aero may be trying to change us, but I still think we're pretty set in what we want. Rigby and I were on when they tried to get us to switch from WorldGuard to some other thingy... It's a small suggestion, but it could be the start of a series of changes they might request of us plugin-wise. We should be listening for further changes they wish for, and never stray from our method we have now for deciding changes. Without including them in on it.

I'm an idiot. I'm an idiot. I'm an idiot.

When you guys so they were from voxelbox or whatever, I thought there were part of the voxelport, you know, the plugin that we had but we had to get rid of because of party chat? But apparently thery're from a building team? I"m really lost on the whole situation. They don't have OP so what's the problem? If they got approved by the heads of the building teams, then why are they complaining about building? I'm sooooo lost.

Oh dear.... Paradox...  :O_o:

Ok. The VoxelBox, besides being what you can find on their wiki, are a well known server known for their building ability. You have to HAVE good ability just to apply for whitelist. They also have thier own developer team who are behind such plugins as VoxelSniper, VoxelPort, and many others we don't use. VoxelSniper, we did trash due to partychat. VoxelPort is simply outdated lol. Aero and Cal are simply long time members OF that server.

Okay, it's starting to come together. So what permissions do they have one our server and how could they destroy us?

As well as VoxelSniper globally, the biggest "real" threat.
Liquid is more worried about them changing the server flow and making everyone want to leave by how shitty it will become (if I interpret correctly)
