Yeah, they do. They have trainers, or they have puzzles.

Brock: 2 trainers
Misty: 2 trainers
Surge: 3 trainers + switch puzzle
Erika: ...5? 6 trainers?
Sabrina: 8 trainers + teleport puzzle
Koga: 5 trainers + invisible walls
Blaine: 7-8 trainers + quiz
Giovanni: Bunch of trainers + arrow puzzle

Falkner: Trainers
Bugsy: Trainers
Whitney: Trainers
Morty: Invisible floor + trainers
Jasmine: TROLL GOTZ NO OBSTACLES BOIZ
Chuck? Was that his name?: Trainers
I forgot mr Mahogany: ice puzzle + trainers
Claire: Trainers
All of the above are based on gen 2 map, not the updated gen 4 map, since that one uses far more puzzles, and are all more elaborate. But Jasmine still has no puzzle, no trainers.
