I am now a lease signer. I have a room to live in for the next year, with wired, reliable internet. That's the good news.
The bad news? The storage company I paid monthly to hold my possessions in Reno for 3 months has literally lost track of my stuff. The locker was labeled "vacant" when I got to it, and there was no record in their system of any change since I signed up for it. Trombone, Textbooks, Calculators (and all programs), Rubix Cubes (including 2 gifts and one from Pearl Harbor), Buckyballs (every set, so thats about 8 or 9 sets), and still remembering more as the day goes on.
Gone. Just like that.
I've heard of a bittersweet day. This is more vomit-sweet.

Wow that really sucks... All that stuff.. Any way to get it back? Trombones aren't the cheapest instrument either... Dont know about the other things that much, but i'd sure be annoyed losing my rubiks cubes tooo..
Hope something good happens

The company has insurance, up to $2500. This is assuming I can prove to the insurance company that I OWNED those items, and that they were STORED in that locker. I have a lot of bureaucratic bullshit to go through before I can even get that 2500, assuming they think that the value was that high. And it was actually over that, much to my chagrin.
Trombone: 1500
Text Books: 400
Buckyballs: 320
Rubix cubes: 120
Calculators: 240
And thats just off the top of my head.

I hope something good happens.
