Very possible. Y'all would have to set up the accounts though, before I could make the changes here. Google Adsense is decent and easy to implement - They're the non-intrusive text banners. I don't know much about other ad networks though-- but as long as the ad itself is a simple image or JS, I should be able to stick it wherever you want.

I'm signing us up, I'll post the infomation I use here when I'm done. Until then, we all need to be aware of:

I will not click on my ads nor encourage others to do so.

I will not place ads on sites that include adult content, including pornography.

I will not place ads on sites involved in the distribution of copyrighted materials.

I do not already have a Google AdSense account.

I will not place ads on sites that include incentives to click on ads.

Welcome to AdSense!

We have completed a partial review of your application, but you may begin implementing AdSense code on your site. However, you’ll not begin to see live ads on www.pokemonserver.net until we have fully completed our review of your site. Instead, you’ll see only blank ads, which blend in with the background of your site.

We cannot complete our review of your application until you have placed the AdSense code on your site and are sending us ad requests. Once we have completed our review, your application will be fully approved or disapproved. If approved, you’ll begin to see live ads.

Please note as soon as ads start appearing on your site, we’ll continuously review your account for compliance with our policies. If any violations are detected, ad serving to your pages may be stopped or your account may be disapproved. If at any time you are not seeing ads appear, we recommend you log into your AdSense account and examine any alerts that may appear.

Follow the steps below to begin placing ad code on your site:

STEP 1: Access your account.

Visit http://www.google.com/adsense and sign in using the email address and password you submitted with your application. If you've forgotten your password, visit: http://www.google.com/adsense/support/as/bin/static.py?page=ts.cs&ts=1054302&sct=app-api. Please also make sure you have valid contact information in your account.

STEP 2: Create an AdSense ad unit.

Visit the "My ads" tab, confirm the product selected is "Content" and click "+New ad unit".

STEP 3: Implement the ad code on your pages.

After you create your ad unit, click “Save and get code” to generate the ad code to paste into the HTML source of your website. For help implementing the code, visit our Code Implementation Guide: http://www.google.com/adsense/support/as/bin/static.py?page=guide.cs&guide=28893&sct=app-12156. If you don't have access to edit the HTML source of your pages, please contact your webmaster or hosting company.

For help getting started and implementing your ad code, please visit the AdSense Academy: http://support.google.com/adsense/bin/static.py?page=checklist.cs&tab=1187443.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

* Once ads begin to appear, please don't click on your ads, even to test them -- doing so isn't permitted by the AdSense program policies: https://www.google.com/adsense/policies.

* You can add the AdSense code to a new page or site that complies with our program policies at any time. There's no need to inform us or apply for a new account when you do.  Please make sure our crawler can access any webpage you place ad code on. For more details, visit: http://www.google.com/adsense/support/as/bin/answer.py?answer=10532.

Sincerely,

The Google AdSense Team

Alrighty. Now you guys just need to tell me where you want them placed and I can get started.

Screenshots with arrows would be nice too, though not completely required :D

I was wondering, would it go on the Main Page, or the forum page, or both?

I'd recommend a few pages of the forums... The index, and message indexes at least (where all the threads in a board are shown).

For those of you with all the admin login info, keep an eye on the Adsense account.. A quick check once daily is generally enough. A "Page CTR" of over 3% or so is generally bad - check the number of page views vs clicks. GA will terminate your account if you have an ad click-spammer, doesn't matter who does it. You see erroneous activity, use the link in the upper right "Report Issue" ASAP.

Typically, CTR hangs around between .30% and 1.5% in my experience.

.12$/click

Not true. Ad click prices vary based on the ad served, and a couple other factors. I've seen a single click on my site show as much as $1.04, others not sharing more than 6 cents.

Minus tax

Oh yeah, you'll have fun with this one... I STILL haven't received my refund yet because the IRS seems to think I own a business off making $1345 on Adsense last year
