Double XP Weekend

So I was thinking today and had this idea: Double XP Weekend. For those of you who don't know what this is it's pretty much just a weekend where you get double XP. Personally I think it would be a good idea for the new maps, since mcmmo is gonna be reset. This could help people towards earning more mcmmo, having a better time, and even promoting new players.

there was 5x xp for like an hour one time.

Are you suggesting this happen now, or when 1.8 comes?

When 1.8 comes out, so that people won't have to work as hard to get their levels back.
