I say we release without Unova. If the other maps are done lets just get the server back and get people playing again. Just sayin.




Unova can be something to look forward to to keep people playing.

There is still a small amount of stuff to do in the other regions, primarily Kanto, but I think this might be a good idea. Unova is nearly finished but still has quite a bit to do, including large places like the Entralink and Unity Tower. I'm worried, with our current progress, we may not finish Unova in time before the server dies of lack of funds.
If we release these regions now and advertise while we still have spare donation money we can build up the community again, finish off Unova a lot quicker and get onto Kalos/ORAS Hoenn.


I agree with your idea War but I think we should wait until the summer holidays start (for the northern hemisphere (whenever that is)) and in the mean time, focus on finishing off the little things in the first four regions.




EDIT: I think we should make the decision now though and give everyone a date to prepare. We also need to finalise what we're keeping and what we're wiping.

Unova for server DLC. Sponge has started releasing alpha builds, so it may be a while before we can start using that. No idea what plugins essential to the server will port over, but its certain that when that happens, there'll be changes, possibly significant. Also need to wait for 1ce to return from his uni stuff.

I've been on summer break for about a week now lol.
