Me and a and several others think the admins should assign gyms early so builders on the build server can start making there arena's and courses early.

I was thinking the same thing, and have something like if you have over 6 johto badges you can become a hoenn, sinnoh, or unova leader

We'll assign gyms when we've decided on requirements for leading said gyms. And if anything, any building done on the build server at the current moment will go to building the regions, not a gym interior.

barn if they did it that way then the other regions would have as many challengers as the elite 4  :p

I also have plans to rework the gym system so I'd rather not have gymleaders trying to build stuff.

i say they should make a central spawn that is in none of the regions and have warp signs to all the diffrent regions and the rules on it

Depends where the courses are built. If its after map switch, then no. If its on the build server, then probably. Although if you try any thing funny you will be treated without mercy.

i would start right away if i could get an official word on the gym i want or not.
(being mauville city gym) ima try and make it kinda like the real on a piston maze but that'll take lots of redstonery which would be annoying in gm 0

Theres still the maps to be built. Gyms have zero priority currently.
