Title: I Challenge.
Post by: ArchieSalt on August 22, 2013, 02:01:47 pm: I've got all 8 badges and I declare that I challenge the pokemon league, apparently there are no rules yet so I'd like to state on here that I am the first challenger.
Here's proof.

The reason i've made this post is because I don't think it's fair that I could be the first to get 8 badges and challenge, and someone else could challenge before me simply because 'The Elite wasn't ready' when I was, and another person managed to challenge first due to their convenient time zone.
I hope you understand my point of view.

I only say this as I was the first to get all the badges and challenge and wouldn't want to lose out just because someone has a more convenient time zone for challenging or through any other scenario.

Post by: synderfin on August 22, 2013, 05:06:59 pm: My suggestion, based on Tene's, is that each elite is in the same lvl range as in game (e.g. 50-59) but also have the specific type.
I then think the champion should have no restrictions at all. That way they can use their winning team. If they had a lvl cap then anyone could come, beat them and it wouldn't prove anything about who's the strongest. It'd also make champion fights not very interesting.

I think your situation is unknown yet. The admins aren't sure 100% about what the elite will do/be as nobody had made it this far yet...until now!

Those first five will get priority, the rest will challenge at will, when they can.
Also, we need a format for people to be able to challenge in. Do they post when they want to challenge, or alert the proper authorities.

Forgot to mention, Mio's is probably from testing or something, zoomzen has stated he doesn't want to challenge the elite.

I would also, but seeing as they can really only be challenged when the challenger to be and first elite should be online, they can challenge, declare the team on forums, and the other elites will have to have their teams posted before the first battle, I think.
