When, or soon before, a Bukkit Recommended Build is ready for plugin developers to work with it.
Any and every plugin that reads, writes, or bothers with chat has broken functionality due to PlayerChatEvent becoming AsyncPlayerChatEvent.
That is only one of many changes that we have to wait for a fix to.

With the 1.3.1 thing, I know the server will be updated as soon as it can be with bukkit and everything, but I have already updated my minecraft. I do not want to go hunting for a 1.2.5 .jar because of viruses and stuff, so what I was wondering is, if the 1.3.1 bukkit isn't released for a while, will I be safe from being evicted from my house even if the two week period is exceeded? I don't want to start off the update looking for a new house.

And remember, 1.2.4 also worked with 1.2.5 servers.

To answer the question, I'm trying to be more lenient with evictions at this time, as I usually am during an update. I will subtract the time since August 1st from the /seen time, and if that is less than 14 days you're fine. Unless Bjzrgood is evicting you, then you might have a problem.
