Becoming an Elite.
« on: April 01, 2012, 03:53:45 pm »
I was wondering where the official elite rules and requirements are found on the forums or webpage. I am just a little confused due to the recent shakeup and changing of elites over the last month.

For example, I understand you need all 8 Kanto badges to challenge the elite 4, and you give those badges up at the time of challenge, and fight in order of the current elite succession, but what if there is only 3 current elites? If you challenge and win one battle, but lose the others, do you become one still, or do you need to win all elite matches to then fill the 4th spot, or if there is a 4th elite, bump him out back to regular trainer? I know I am not the only one curious, as people are acquiring badges moreso nowadays.

EDIT: Think I mixed up the order 4th to 1st, but hope you know what I mean.
Thank you admins for clearing it up, and I guess if other people have elite questions, post in here or make other posts?

if there are 3 elites and you challenge, you automatically become an elite, the fights at that point are to determine your position in the order. if u win 2 elite fights and lost the 3rd u would be 3rd spot of the elite ahead of the 2 you defeated and below the one you lost to. Hope this answers your question.

as for the second part of your question if there are 4 elites and a champion you either have to win all 5 to knock out the current champ and become champ if you dont win the 5 fights all returns to normal.
Where's the fire? What's the hurry about? You better cool it off before you burn it out.

So if there are 4 elites and say, you beat two, do you knock out whoever was in the first elite spot then, and they drop rank, and you become the 1st or 2nd?

If the elite is full and you defeat 2 the elite remains as is you do not become one

So how do elites become eliminated? Do they6 just have to willingly relinquish their rank? They can't be eliminated or beaten out?

Thanks for all the responses oddy...

So this is how it works I believe.

Lets say all spots are taken. When you beat the Champion you are now champ. Then everyone moves down a spot the first elite gets kicked the second elite becomes 1st elite and so forth.

Correct me if I am wrong.

And if people leave, all Elites below them go up.
