If you are a gym leader you can't sell non gym equipment in your gym.

Continuing on from that;

Gyms aren't a place for personal storage. They shouldn't have mass amounts of chests filled with personal belongings. They should at most have perhaps a shop in the lobby, a storage chest where the leader can keep armour and weapons for their battle.

I have a question say if you were in a elite fight you ran out of OP apples you disarm the oppenents apples would you be allowed to eat them?

Yes, disarming is allowed in any aspect in elite fights.

Its treated as any other battle, but give items back at the end. And theres a few limitations such as no flying, 6 dogs maximum and no harming splash potions.

Are you still allowed to take regular harming potions?

sorry iPhone, I really think 24/7 gyms should have been born(which they were) and died with admins as gym leaders. The reason is admins have many things to see to that prioritize over a gym battle, where as player gym leaders part of your job is to be active(this gives you room for less activity) and be able to drop what you're doing and accept a challenge. Its what you sign up for and I am not a fan of finding ways to weasel out of that.
