Title: Rival Function and [TeamRocket] Rank.
Post by: cp910 on March 16, 2014, 04:49:56 pm
I think there should be a rival function where it teleports you to an arena Where you fight your rival as I explain lower.
It actually may not work out well though  . Or we could add [Rival] rank which could function like [GymLeader] rank maybe.
I also think there should be a donator rank that is [TeamRocket]  or maybe also function like [GymLeader] rank.
Please answer me! :)

Well firstly, we had mob arena, which is your suggestion. But it had a beserk bug. Secondly, we had teams, it was a little thing our players were doing for fun, but it stopped. And as for the rank, I doubt it would be in. We won't get ranks named after anything in the game unless we do the exact function (Ex. GymLeader, Elite... etc.) We had admins and mods as Prof. and ProfAssist. But people were confused at what they did. Same would happen with the team rocket prefix.

Who is who's rival?
Maybe there could be a command like /setrival [username] or /rival or something

So I set you as my rival, they set me as their rival, suddenly we're both rivals.

Yeah, unless you can put in some real though as to how this would work, nothing is being done about it.

Or everytime you get sent a rival request next time you login you see this (Player) has requested to be your rival! /rival accept (player) to accept as your rival or something similar

in the faction plugin when you /enemy (faction name) in some versions the prefix of a player in that faction turns red...
you can see the red but nobody else can.
cant that be converted into a rival rank? for example... if I /rival cp then would it be possible for cp's name to say rival in my chat but not show in other peoples chat? same thing with /pc or /msg... only certain people can see the msg or party chat...

No it wouldn't, and it'd be stupid to install a plugin like this just for an additional prefix.
