Title: Viridian Forest Remodel

Can we remodel Viridian Forest? Isnt the leaves on the ground supposed to be tall grass? This would also be nice with the new plugin as there will be more mobs to kill for the newbees

Is the Kanto modelled after Fire Red/Leaf Green or is it modelled after HG/SS ?
there are huge differences in the maps between different games

The problem was that the grass kept dying in darkness, and we wanted darkness to spawn mobs.  If you remodel it, keep in mind that it'll be a different size and screw with how well it connects to the adjacent routes.

My only goal with this post is to get rid of the noobish leave grass. Looks bad, does nothing, beginer design. Not bashing on original builders but Minecraft has changed...

Places like Eterna Forest in Sinnoh are gonna be warps though,
maybe (if this isn't already a thing) make it so that some warps cannot be used via command?

I'm not changing the size. I'm changing the region so grass won't decay, removing the ground leaves and replacing it with tall grass.

It doesnt need a warp. Just warp to the bank or Pewter City and walk the ten steps  :o

Lies. There is no flag that stops tall grass decay. Nonetheless, I redid the forest. There's just torches around the grass now so until we find a better way to support this, Viridian forest will be slightly less dark :P

I agree with warmonger. If the only purpose for the roof was for the mobs, then that is taken care of, and the roof has no use. Artificial light over natural light, in order to preserve a useless roof, makes no sense to me.

I'll take the roof away now and delete the torches then. It'll allow the giants to spawn better anyways.
