I believe this the second time I have posted about Parkour in the Celadon gym, After the Lava Lake and fire jumps the gym was remodeled.... but this time a 4 block jump above fire and webs was installed. I double checked with the admin who was on and they informed me to screenshot this and post about it.
here is 2 of countless 1x3 jumps above fire.

Later on is a massive trap door above fire. this may be fair idk. the fire is the part i complain about on this factor. I decided to quit the gym at this point to save my items from burning.
I feel something must be done so that rules are broken when making gyms. falls are fine but fire/lava/cactus traps need to be banned and the gym leaders who break these rules punished.
And I don't buy the well if you type fast enough to spawn you can save your items.
No offence to any leader I just find that If you are bad at jumps your punished by death and loss of items. join that with impossibly to get badges.
Update: I didn't get far enough but apperently there is a shop in the gym selling enderpearls for 500 each so that people can skip a challenge. This may want to be reviewed.
As a side note I believe gyms should be IG themed, A Grass gym should not be All fires and Death...... just saying.

I miss parkour. Gyms look so uncreative now.

1x4 is not a 1 block jump. Ladders only are taken into consideration with momentum. If a person is not running they can not make it.
but either way if this is how all gyms are going to be its sad. This adds a layer of grime to the server but it looks like it wont be fixed. I will go beat the gym and get it over with.
I'm not trying to bash you I'm just sick of every gym being the same, and we go for authenticity with the scaling on the server and yet we allow the gyms to go crazy rogue.
Btw lava ladders are the easiest thing in the world. Go make one yourself and practice, or better yet find me in game and i will teach you.

its not that hard? All you do is sprint and jump xD I've seen 7 block jumps in gyms :P

your quite right Paradox, but this is not about what has been or could be. This post was is about current rules on parkour and how it is banned.
If this is legal you know every gym will pop up with this design.
I think there should be a defined rule on gym making explaining exactly what parkour is and how its banned.

War's gym is not that hard and that parkour is really simple.

1ce stated before about Saffrons old maze design, saying that 2x1 jumps isn't parkour.
Also, back in the day -no sprint- the most annoying gym with parkour was Cinnabar, Glowstone on Fence parkour jumps 2x1 jumpes without sprint is a pain in the ass.
