Hey I have a few questions about plugins, if anyone knows the answer please reply! :D
- Is it possible to limit the zoom-in level allowed on Dynmap? Seemingly Impossible
- How can I hide parts of Dynmap/black them out
- A boss battle plugin that would have a boss spawn in the boss room of a dungeon when a player enters the room, and when the boss is defeated, it allows the player to move on (ex: a redstone current, warping the player, making a few blocks disappear/opening a passage ETC) Solved
-certain regions regenerate/restore blocks and levers to original state when there is no player in the region or a timer goes off. Solved
Oh and what plugin does this server use for custom welcome to the server/join/quit messages? Solved
Any help appreciated! (RARECANDIES FOR UUUUU) :D

Essentials is the plugin for Welcome messages. To make/edit the message, go into your plugins folder and search motd. You should find a motd txt/notepad file, open it and change the message to your preferences.
As for the Login/Logout messages, I think 1ce adds/ed them from ModDamage, but I'm not 100% sure.

Yeah 1ce uses ModDamage
I suggest actually looking at the bukkitdev pages where you downloaded these plugins if you want good help... I cant ever get people to connect to my dynmap site lol..
As for the others, may have to do some searching or submit a plugin request.

K thanks
I've been searching how to set different spawns for each rank, and I found this: http://forums.bukkit.org/threads/ranked-spawn.95790/ people replied on there saying essentials does that with "/setspawn [group name]" but I was wondering does that command come with normal essentials or do I need to use essentials group manager?
-
I'm pretty sure it comes with just Essentials, so you can use any Permissions plugin e.g. GroupManager, PermissionsEX (PEX), BPermissions etc

Awesome, I didn't want to have to use group manager

A lot of people feel that way so I'm gonna go with PEX PermissionSEX :p , why is group manager hated on so much though?

I found pex has a logical way of using its commands. none of this /manuadd and stuff like that.
I much prefer /pex and logical sequence of flags
