So I just moved my moms desktop to my room (its basically ours anyways she bought it for us xD) but it CAN'T handle minecraft for some reason and the computer isn't even THAT old. It's like las then 5 years. So I'm guessing it has a Nvidia GeForce 6150SE nForce 430. So I thought ETF? An Nvidia can handle minecraft? But here's the full specs list.

4gb RAM
AMD Phenom X4 9150e (sounds good lol)
I THINK the graphics card and video card are combined lol they both have the same name.
any ideas? I have my laptop at my dads house so my phone is my only internet thing lol.

I think your problem might lie in the small amount of ram, but it might be a problem with the model, one last thing, are you sure you have 64 bit java along with 64 bit minecraft?

Specs of my laptop:(https://www.pokemonserver.net/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fgyazo.com%2Fdf1ee8e2709ce92b2516499e04a2fbc9.png%3F1350270454&hash=04a16b8782efa2103341b8960b2602f2)
And i believe that minecraft will run in 64bit and 32 bit. Isn't it defined according to the java you have installed whether minecraft will run as 64bit or 32bit?

There is only one version of minecraft. Which is why you get a red message when trying to run far render on 32 bit java.

Nope. There is a version of Minecraft that is only 4 kilobits.

Go to the Nvidia web site and download/install the latest drivers. When you install the drivers make sure you tick the little box that says "complete install" or something like that. I have had this happen even on my gaming rig and usually it has to do with a driver hick-up. If not then it may be some other things.
It is not the amount of ram or version of Java/Minecraft. Also make sure that you plugged the video cable into the graphics card and not the on-board graphics.

I trust Warmonger with anything computer related. If he told me to put a hammer through my screen I would do it.
