UPGRADED MOBS

So, I was thinking about all the players that were mad and thought that the server was useless because of the lack of actual Pokemon. Dogs are pretty useful in PvP, but they aren't as exciting as animals literally flipping players off.
What if we added tamed non-hostile mobs, turn them into tamable mobs, and let them have special abilities so they could could help with PvP, so you and a mob/Pokemon could fight together?


 :evil: Le Abilities & Animals :evil:

Chicken: Gives owner extended jump potion effect if under 10 block range, and can help deal damage to the opponent at a slow rate, and at half a heart per second.

Cow: Increases health regeneration to a full heart instead of half a heart if under 10 block range, and can ram into opponent, knocking them back as much as Knockback II on a sword, dealing a full heart of damage.

Mooshrom: Decreases hunger going down if under 10 block range, and ram into opponents, knocking them back and dealing half a heart of damage to anything/one collided with the enemy knocked back.

Ocelot: Increases movement speed using Swiftness II potion effect if under 10 block range., cannot deal damage toward opponents but can weaken them (weakness pot effect)

Pig, the all mighty Pig: Allows you to control pig when riding on it, and increases movement speed using swiftness I potion effect, if rammed into any enemies, does 1 heart of true damage, knocking them back by 3 blocks.

Neutral mobs can be found in grass, in addition to the MobsInGrass plugin. However, the chance of finding each mob is 5% each, and only one can be tamed and used at a time. Like dogs, they cannot be hurt in protected areas where the player cannot attack dogs or other players. If the mob is dragged 10 blocks away from it's spawn, it will disappear. Food can be taken from the animals, considering players will probably go hungry without heal signs or a melon farm.

I know that this plugin sounds like a devil to make, sorry, but in my mind it seems pretty fun. If this is added to the Pokemon Server, Yay.


EDIT: Ermagurd, how did I forget. Each mob has 20 hearts instead of a few, considering they are hard to find and very weak.
Also, to tame each mob, you have to give it sugar, if you know what I mean. jk.
I didn't add sheep because I'm racist to sheep.

You will be able to control pig movement in 1.4 with carrot on a stick :p

They moved that to 1.5,

With the new lighting engine. 1.5 better be good.

Ah, lol. HF was right. But the lighting will be 1.4 right? Its been in a few snapshots.

I got some more ideas for the animal plugin

squids: let you breath under water longer.

Sheep: give you extra armor protection

Suddenly my interest is piqued.

Although I did spend 50 dollars on a textbook about vision. When I'm not taking or planning to take the class it's for.
