Does this apply just to this server? If not, then I have a rather interesting story how I got Admin on another server :p

I.... have no idea. I don't even know what Admin chose me. I'm just nice, I'm helpful, I applied, I'm mod. The end.

Well, there was a server I played on regularly for a few months. Then the server went to shit and I gave up on it. But I occasionally went on after Pnut got mod, just to see what was happening. And after about 2 months on and off (about 2 or 3 months after giving up on it), some time in April or June I think, they were in need of new admins, and when they found out I was 19 (apparently a mature age xD) i was autopromoted to mod, and the next day I was admin. Needless to say, everyone liked me as admin :p
And then like 2 months after I got admin, the server reset, and just died...

Fuck. Sounds like an old server I had tonsa fun on. When I got on one day, no warning or anything, server reset, and whenever I tried to get on afterward, it would say "End of stream"...
All I remember of it now is that it was a Factions server and the owner was "Wolfyknight"

The server used to be a build server. You'd get a rank up for starting a town or city, and the first 'version' of the server had towns everywhere
When it reset the first time, it became a regular survival server with pvp toggle.
When it reset again (when I left), it became a multiword server, with survival, factions and for some reason, a world dedicated to spawns... (this was when you joined, and I was admin)
And then it reset again, and died in about a week, when the owner sold it, and we found out 10 year olds can't run a server because they lack the ability to pay for them...

Yeah, this was the third server I ever joined, and the first server I stayed on. I joined pokeserver about a week after this one. Back in early October I recall.

By the time you joined, we were up to building out 8th spawn, and probably 3 or 4 of those were never used...

The spawn i remember first was on a hill, near a mountain range, with weather signs and everything lol. Behind and infront of you were staircases leading down the hill.
My faction was the "Highlanders" lol

There was even a jail, tene
and my F spawn was ina forest in some randomass location that was burned down/somehow W/E'd by some idiot
The spawn after that was a HUGE building with portals and shops (not chestshops tho) and whothehellknowswhatelse

I went on, to check it out. Then Hix's post had effect. i got mod in a futile attempt to stop em.

How I become mod by FrenZy.
It was a dark and stormy night. I was farming some crops in real life but then I saw a light. I kept on farming and ignored it but it came closer. I screamed as It came to me and then it all went blurry. I was blinded by the light and passed out.
Chapter II - The tank
I woke up in a water tank there was a tube in my mouth supplying me with oxygen I supposed. So I looked around and saw I was in some room. Then I saw a green man coming to the tank and take out the tub in my mouth. There was alot of blood every were but after 5 hours of him ripping out stuff in my body I got used to it. After I fell alseep and dreamed of My little pony and how sexy mario is.
Chapter III - Anal Prob
I was on a table strapped down, while this purple lady and 2 green men approached me. They had short and long, pointy and dull tools. They sure knew how to use them right. The pain was unbearable. After they injected a yellow liquid where my head was. At first I thought Im dead Im dead Im dead Im dead but nothing happened. I passed out I guess it was knock out gas.
Chapter IV - The escape
I woke up and ripped the tube out of my throat again in the tank. So I got out butt naked and ran for my life. I saw in a window it was outer space. It was so beautiful and in the reflection I saw a purple lady approach me and smacked a spiked club on my head.
Chapter V - Modded
I woke up in bed. I thought it was all a dream but my head and prostate disagreed. I took a shower an got my ipod and went on skype. The owner of the server (lets call him Apple). Apple said wanna be a mod. I was staring in the screen with so many emotions (Mostly my prostate emotions). So I typed in y-e-s. Then I got modded.
THATS HOW I GOT MODDED :D

Should I also say I'm an Admin of Jeffros server, simply because I know how to use plugins :p

Seeing as this is the third server I've seen on, I'll tell you about my other two server experiences.
First Server: Well, this server just started out, it was 1.3, and the owner was trying to stop grief in areas and such. So, I started fixing griefed areas, and helped players. The owner spontaneously made me admin. Three days later, the server shuts down, he cannot pay for it.
Second Server: This, was the Animal Crossing server. I remember TAlegends who was an admin there, absolutely hated me, and he said to me "YOU WILL NEVER GET MOD!" Nevertheless, I kept on helping people, and earn't all of the player's respect and started giving suggestions of plugins and such. The admins then gave me mod. The server then got griefed mercilessly by hackers. And the server shut down, cause somebody forgot to pay for it.
Then a couple of months later, I decided to get the server back up. Me, Archie, Ahmed and Doom started building away. Then we got the map back, and the server lives again. Till now.

I got mod on Jeffro's server because I made a good application and was one of the first members on the server.
I will be admin on a server me, Snowbro911 and Pasarya are making.

i got mod on jeffros and getting ranked up to admin soon ;) and also a admin in LilWaffles server some of u guys seen him on pokeserver and he has 3 servers that are very fun me doom lil and his brother are admins on those

So it's June 2011 and I'm out of my part time college semester, and finally decide to see what minecraft multiplayer is like. I'd made a single player world, made a quarry that took multiple days to mine, and I was honestly bored.
So I check out minecraft forums. First thing that looks interesting, some small new server, not much to it. I join, and it's pretty much him and me for the first 3 days. I recall being amazed by him making a pillar of glass into the sky, wondering how he did such an amazing thing. I guess he had world edit. I built an igloo with my /give items. He gave me op a little later. Then I became bored with minecraft and didn't log in for about 3 weeks. The ip never worked again.
So I looked on minecraft forums again. Found another server, and logged in. Holy cow, so much stuff, an ice skating rink, something that looked like a Ferris wheel, a hideout for some group if people with 30 rooms, and who knows what else. I was teleported to the top of a tower and I remember the awe I felt as I saw how grandiose the server was. I got snuck up upon by a creeper and he exploded near the rink. I told the admin online and I just gaped as the hole was repaired before my eyes. I regretfully told them that the server was just too advanced for what I was looking for, and I was leaving to look for something more simple. They said their farewells with a puzzled tone, mentioning that they weren't that complex. So I left and went back to the forum.
And what would I find but a server title with the word Pokemon in it? Now the forum was undergoing maintenance, so everything was read only until the next morning. So I read through the applications, realized it was white listed, and resigned to the fact that I would have to wait until morning to apply and check it out.
Just for shits and giggles, I typed in the numbers for the ip and hit enter. Lo and behold, I log in and see the interior of a pallet town house. Appropriately surprised, I type "hello" to see if anyone is online. I get a response from Nightroado, and X_griffin_X saying that as long as I didn't mess with anything, I could stay. They had world guarded the places that they had finished, so there was literally no threat. So I made my way through viridian forest. And then mt moon, with no problems since it was onPeaceful difficulty during building. So I see the two of them, and one other player on an Ash skin (I was wearing Arcanine at the time) talking about how long the fence was by the Badge mans house. I think that it's cool, and since I remembered reading that someone had donated 30, I decided I wanted the record and donated 32. I then stayed around while Zombiedood dug holes in the dirt and tried to get me to fall into them. I couldn't retaliate because I didn't have access to the area.
The next morning, I think "what the hell, I can't build the city but I can contribute" so I go into the wild, chop down a tree, and grab the saplings and logs. I then start a tree farm outside cerulean city, grabbing saplings and replanting them, getting logs and crafting them into planks, and when there was no more to harvest, I built Nugget Bridge with my planks. If I ran out, my farm had more grown by the time I was ready.
It was only the next day that I learned that donating got you op. from there, it was a whirlwind of X_griffin_X teaching me how to //set things, how to make leaves above the ground for hedges, how to /give myself infinite items, building cinnabar gym, nightroado fighting me, telling me I suck at pvp, zaneakye fighting me and being my only victory in that gym, gladosexe taking too long with mobs-to-money and me finally learning how to install a plugin with MobBounty, trying to edit the Essentials Motd and using an apostrophe which broke the entire config, and broke all of essentials (aka the 1ce age) creepers blowing everything up, chat tags gone, money useless, so much chaos, and then the shiny red tag saying that I was actually part of the group in charge.
Tl;dr: I donated for admin and built nugget bridge.

On the subject of how each of us found this server. I wasn't playing on any public multiplayer servers before this one, I hosted a small vanilla server on my iMac and wanting to re-enact the destruction of the Titanic (In any way possible), I searched 'Titanic' into the MCforums and somehow came across this. I was amazed and incredibly happy and since then I've been a regular player on the Pokemon Server.
Getting back on topic. I became an admin on the Animal Crossing Server twice, The first time was in late January. On New Years Eve I was at a party and Myself, Jeddeth and My cousin were bored out of our skulls so we decided to play some video games. I was very addicted to Minecraft at the time and it explains my ideas back then, while looking through my Cousins collection of games I came across Animal Crossing City Folk and had fond memories of playing it online with others. Then the idea for an Animal Crossing Server popped into my head, I thought it was one of the best ideas I ever had. Then the server ran out of money so it had to be closed. Ali who was a very helpful and regular player (and also promoted to Moderator shortly before the server was closed) constantly volunteered to pay for the server but I always declined because I didn't want to put all responsibilities on him. A few months after it closed down, I heard that Ali was reviving the server with a new map and new plugins etc.(A clean slate) and I tried to get the original map from Chibilink to save us a ton of work. Chibi said he couldn't find it but magically found it a few weeks later and sent it to me and from there on I've been a dedicated Admin of the Animal Crossing Server.

I was voting for a friend's server on Minestatus.net. I was just about to scroll the list of servers (I had a tendency to do so back then). I stopped, A server catching my eye. I looked at the top 5 servers, namely #3. It had a rather off picture of Charmander and its evolutions. It said, "The Pokemon Server". I looked at the IP. Easy enough to remember. I brought up MC and entered the IP. I have had so much fun since then.

That was a very interesting and nostalgic story, 1ce. I actually enjoyed reading it. Rare candied :)
As for me.. to this day I have no idea how I became mod. The Pokemon Server has been my first and currently the only server I play on other than some Hamachi servers.

I'm not saying who were chose was stupid. I still like to point out that entire choosing was favoritism.
Oh yeah, I WOULD get l along with you (hell, going farther and saying your the best server owner I ever met, and I've meet A LOT) if you didn't have a tenancy to prosperously get under my skin. Last weekend be the best example.

How did I become OP? Oh man, we have to really go back a while, don't we?
It all started on the KoA. Just a server that had a Kingdom and such, nothing too advance but was pretty fun at the time. I was online one day, just hopping around, when I was talking to Church. He had mentioned someone built their own city and he thought we should build our own for fun. I agreed and tried to think what would be a cool city to build. I gave it a little thought and suggested we build Pallet Town and have that be our city. He humbly conquered that it was a swell idea. Quickly, we contemplated what if we built all the pokemon cities? Then I said "What if there was a pokemon server?". You can guess what happened from there. At the time, our Teamspeak probably had a total of six or so people (Now we have so many people, it's ridiculous to think that at one point it was that few people. I don't think it was even Teamspeak, I think it was mumble?), and I asked if anyone wanted to create a Pokemon server with me. As you can guess, they thought it was a neat idea, so we got Windows to host a serer and we began building. I threw together a rag-tag thread on the minecraft forums, hoping people would help out. Nightroado came quickly and said he would donate if and only if we would add MCMMO. Having no idea what the fuck that was but hearing the word "donation", considering the server had only been up for about a day, we hastily took the money.
This thread is really funny in the fact that a LOT of people got OP before most of you were here. Probably in the first week of the server, I promoted dozens of people to OP just for logging on and being nice, but they weren't considered admins. Then we limited it to donators. I love talking about the old days :P
