Really quickly:

1ce, there is a hack bukkit client at the moment that allows 1.4.7 Bukkit to exist on a server and be 1.5. Ask Liquid for it.

The word hack. And you're a bit late, theres also [i[]official[/i] dev bukkit builds now.

I knew about it already, and I've also talked to him about it, its called Spigot, and the reason we don't jump at updates is due to problems that I don't want to deal with. We are not desperate for players, we are not going to suffer because we wait for a stable build and stable plugins. Learn to downgrade, or learn to be zen.

Spigot had bugs with crafting too. Made it near impossible to craft.
