Do you have 3 (or is it 4 now) badges and over 200 in a combat stat?

Last I saw, you need it 2 be 200, unsure if that's changed though

Kanto requires 100 combat skill and 3 badges
Johto requires  200 combat skill and 4 badges

It took me quite a while to get GL I had 7 Kanto badges by the time i finally got it.

I joined a server, 3 weeks later with only 2 badges, i took over saffron completely, after that rarely who had portal badge. Ignore that, my point is, keep training, show people how awesome you are, and eventually someone WILL pick you. With enough determination, and hard work you'll become a pretty decent gym leader, good luck.
