Title: Piracy. It's a crime.

Does anyone like to watch a movie from time to time and see this unskippable commercial? It annoys me.
 
What I don't get is why they play this video after you have bought a legal copy of the DVD. The only way to see it is really to buy a legal copy of a DVD in the first place.
 
Piracy isn't stealing, the advert was very poorly crafted for this. With stealing, the person loses what they owned, with piracy, they're giving away copies.
 
If I have a clone machine, and put a car in it, I'd be happy to give away the clone because it doesn't affect my life. What I wouldn't do it accuse them of stealing.
 
Finally, something tells me that the makers of the music in the advert were unaware that the makers of the ad were PIRATING their music.
 
Here is the video, it may annoy you, but it's one of those things that I've seen over the years and just wondered about.

Weird thing, is that I'm currently listening to a gaming podcast talking about piracy..
Anyway, yes I hate that thing, a lot.
Piracy isn't stopping nowhere near anytime soon anyway.

What they don't know is I would happily steal a car or a television or a handbag. I'm quite the criminal, really.

So what if piracy is a crime, stealing infants from the hospital is probably a crime, but I do that anyways.

Every time I watch one of the films in my room, I see that advert that Duck posted ( I forgot which film ) Why even make these ads? People are still gonna do it today. Recently, I've been watching Fake Britain and I saw an episode where people had their WHOLE house filled with illegal DvD burners and discs. They said they would make over 100,000 a week from all these. People know they will get caught one day, but they still do it. People make fake money. People make fake chargers. People make fake toys. The world isn't perfect! Seriously, these ads won't do anything. Everyday, there is new illegal things coming into the world for sale. These ads are POINTLESS.
