A few minutes ago, I was googling a japanese server so it could help me learn the language (the best way to learn a language is immersion, right?) and it had a dynmap. Of course, I clicked on it and it had the best pixel art I've ever seen! here's one of their pixel art things:

Yes, these are all pixel art.

They look good, but I wonder if they were all hand built, not done using these image converter things so you know what blocks to use where.

I don't know if they used one of those pixel art generators or not. But this server is very cool and from little english I heard (I can't read kanji very well), it sounds like a fun and good server. I might actually get on again to try and talk with people.

Aside from the awesome Sword Art and Madoka Magica pixel art, you're learning Japanese? I am myself, I know quite a bit of Kanji, enough to play the japanese Pokémon games, but not enough to speak it. So Eer, if you find a Japanese server, give me a heads up, will you? :3

Pokémon games have no Kanji in them. They're made for kids that haven't learnt advanced Kanji yet. I played FR/LG and Diamond in Japanese =]

Incorrect, I played the Japanese version of HG, and I think that's the only game with an option to change to kanji.

Hmm, I haven't played them in Japanese since Diamond, but wouldn't surprise me if there was a setting for it.

Japanese Black 2 and White 2 have options for kanji, hiragana, and katakana. And ali, if you want the server name (I hope the admins are fine with me posting this), it's mc.sakura-server.net

And I barely know any kanji. All I know is "tree," numbers 1-10, and a few other things. However, I'm taking a spoken Japanese course that I checked out from the library and it doesn't teach kanji, but it teaches basic japanese vocabulary and it's helping me learn pronunciation and other things. It's easier to do a spoken course so I'm going to learn kanji a bit later, after I learn spoken Japanese.

I played Soul Silver in Japanese. I could never figure out why Ethan wouldn't let me go to the Indigo Plateu... Then I got it in English
