Many of you have heard of RWBY, a new online show from RoosterTeeth. It's about 4 girls named Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna, and Yang Xiao Long. Ruby has recently been moved to a new school, Beacon Academy, which is a training school for huntsmen and huntresses. These people keep peace in the world and keep darkness from taking it over. I don't know much about it because only 4 episodes have come out so far, but it already has a large group of fans. Here's some information about the main characters:
Ruby Rose: Ruby is one of the main characters, and her weapon is the Crescent Rose, a cross between a scythe and a gun. She loves weapons and says that seeing new weapons is "like meeting new people, but more fun!" Yang Xiao Long is her sister. Ruby seems to be based off of Little Red Riding Hood.
Weiss Schnee: Weiss is another character, based off of Snow White. She is a spoiled rich kid, being the heiress of the Schnee Dust Company. She uses a Dust Rapier named Myrtenaster. She seems like a bitch, but that may be because she's lonely (referenced in her main theme, Mirror, Mirror). She hates Ruby because she almost killed her from a Dust explosion.
Blake Belladonna: There isn't much known about Blake except she's friends with Adam. Her weapon is a Variant Ballistic Chain Scythe named Gambol Shroud. Her character seems to be based on Belle from Beauty and the Beast, based on her last name, the fact that she's reading a book about a man that's half-beast, and that her friend Adam's name comes from Adam the beast in Beauty and the Beast. Also, the motif on Adam's clothes (a wilting rose) is similar to the wilting rose in Beauty and the Beast.
Yang Xiao Long: Yang is Ruby's older sister. She seems to be based off of Goldilocks (her name means little sun dragon in Chinese) and she is a very social and witty person. Her weapons are the Dual Ranged Shot Gauntlets, named the Ember Celica. Again, there is not much known about her and we'll probably know more during the next few episodes.

Duck doesn't like it because it has an anime-esque art style. I bet he hasn't even seen the trailers or even the first few minutes of an episode. At least try it before you hate it, duck.

This isn't gay at all. If you want something gay, look at Loveless, Junjou Romantica, or Boku no Pico. Those are some yaoi anime and none of my friends, even the yaoi fangirls I know, won't watch these.

I`m not really into anime much. Though the only full series I watched was Bleach.

My Tumblr (http://rukario-kun.tumblr.com/) has been nothing but RWBY for the last month, since the release of Episode 1 (though I have been posting Pokémon things whenever something good is announced, like Mega Evolutions).

Duck, what is wrong with you? The show is a very high quality and it has a great story line. It's amazing that they can do such high quality episodes with a very limited budget and work force. Just shut your negative mouth and don't comment on this thread anymore if you don't like the show.
