Title: Am I onto something?

I just caught Zygarde and I saw some other passways, and inside 3 of the 4 was Dialga, Palkia and Giratina's orbs!


( The last was just a big nugget )


Maybe they might return as an event?

Just like last gen where those ninja guys give you the orbs, you can't bring items from gen 5 to gen 6 through the trade thing.  Therefore, they've given you the orbs so you won't have them without their true power.

The orbs were most likely there because of the shiny sinnoh legendaries which were widely available before X & Y came out.

Every game since GenIV has provided the orbs because item weren't transferrable cross generation. Same goes for GenVI.

Based on OP's logic, I could also assume there'll be an event for Huntail and Gorebyss due to Deep Sea Tooth and Deep Sea Scale being found on a small island in Azure Bay.
