Hey guys! I'm starting school soon, and as a Freshman. I wanted to know from all you older members of the server, what tips you have for freshman. Thanks!

I think it depends on the school. The one I was in was very laid back, had 2 school-within-a-school programs, which caused its own form of segregation/cliques even among upperclassmen. So I never got the unfamiliar freshie experience, but what I can say is stick to your friends from before while at the same time trying to make new ones with upperclassmen. Older kids' advice is invaluable when it comes to finding good teachers, hangouts, and other misc informational gems. Your old friends can be your support system if/when the upperclassmen reject you or troll you.

ima junior this year so i guess i count as upperclass men lol. Well i can't give you any advice for a big school cause my school has about 425 kids in a town of 5000 where everyone knows everyone else lol so not much bullying goes down here or any other things.

My school is similar with about 500 kids in my school, but there are still the snobby group, and the others. And im part of the others group. But theres not much bullying. Just avoidance of the other group.

Yeah, just think of the next step: college. This is your time to show these great schools why you deserve to be there. As vz said, join clubs and sports. High school will be a lot more fun if you have a lot of memories. Don't spend most of your time stressing over things. Make sure you have a buddy in every class. This will also help make your experience better. Someone you can text for homework help and study help. This is optional, but sometimes a little help with a lot of work won't hurt. I'm not sure if my advice helps, because my school has 4x as many people as yours. Anyway, enjoy your time. It will take forever if you hate it, it will go by fast if you love it. And choose a college, make goals and exceed them, I'm sure you can ;)

Yeah, Im planning on joining some clubs and possibly a sport

band is basiclly a sport in HS cause you have lots of practices and you have to go to the basket ball games and football games plus band specific stuff like concerts and contests so you don't really have to join a main stream sport if u don't wanna
