I found this thing where you get all the Pokemon from either the 1st Gen, Gens 1-2, Gens 1-3, Gens 1-4, or Gens 1-5, and two of them are matched up at a time, and you choose your favorite between each pair, until you get down to the last two Pokemon. Try, and post your results.

My favourite landed on Cyndaquil with Blastoise in second. Also in the top list were Vanilish and Vaniluxe.
It was moderately accurate but I defenatly like Gulpin more than Swalot and Manaphy wouldn't be in my top favourites.

Randomizing, the first two caught my heart. Then, on the last one, performing the Charizard mixes, I swapped the Charizard with Ninetales, and Ponyta with Rapidash.

Ok after the first 20 serious "Do I like this one more than the other one?" I just decided to let fate have it and go left-right-left-right until I had 20 left.  So my faves were BS. Oh and this was on Gen 1, no f***ing way I'd make it to 650.

As for mixing:

butterfree + primeape = winning name.

Golem + Grimer = winning look

Hypno + Gengar = scary as fuck to fight
